Bonjour Paris!!

So we finally made it Paris with a 1h layover in Dublin. Whoa! Can't believe this trip has finally taken off. I am exhausted though. I have been working everyday without a single day off since Jan 3rd so I am about to collapse but very excited :o)

Our Aer Lingus flight felt almost like a Jet Blue flight to Los Angeles - only about 4+ hours. At least we had a really decent meal and I watched the Princess and Frog, which was quite good.

In Paris, we stayed in the 9th Arrondisement at the Vintage Hostel, which was not bad except for the male roommate who went to sleep at 8pm. Not sure why he went to bed so early, but we surmised that he probably worked for IBM given the sweatshirt he was wearing with the huge logo.

We accomplished so much yesterday. We started at a local patisserie where we shared a chocolate croissant and a baguette filled with goat cheese and tomato with coffee. We then navigated our way south la rues de la Paris, to get to the Lourve, the Champs Elysees, and Tullery Gardens. We waved to a random carousel then made our way to the Seine River via Pont Neuf to Ile de la Cite where the amazing Notre Dame and the Saint Chapelle
